The Western Anatolia Free Zone, which is being constructed in the Bergama district of Izmir, has opened its doors to investors focused on export-oriented production, sustainability practices, and high-value-added manufacturing. Faruk Güler, Ph.D., the CEO and Vice Chairman of BASBAŞ, as well as the CEO of Aegean Free Zone Development and Operating Co. (ESBAŞ), stated that they are continuing infrastructure investments in the Western Anatolia Free Zone and will begin factory construction within the year. He invited investors focused on export-oriented production, sustainability practices, and high-value-added manufacturing to invest in the region.
